Wire Drawing Machine Parts

The purpose of the end-user is obvious: Obtaining the highest quality wire at the lowest possible cost. For top quality, the best possible surface finishing is needed. To minimize costs, the best body and best coating alloys should the chosen.

It is imperative to understand all technical requirements and operating conditions in which the wire drawing tools need to function under.  Here are the most important factors in a technical questionnaire:

-          The material which is in contact with the surface (copper, steel, gold, aluminum … etc)
-          The function of the part (conducting, drawing, guiding … )
-          The pressure exercised on the part
-          The ambience ( wet or dry ) and if wet, the substance of the liquid
-          The speed of the wire on the part

For a wire producer, in order to come up with the desired high quality wire or cable, there are plenty of parameters that should be taken into consideration. It is not always easy to understand the reason of any defect on the wire or cable, however it is known that the surface quality of the pulleys, capstans, guides and rollers are playing one of the most important.

i.    Drawing pulleys

Ideal for copper wire drawing machines and steel wire drawing machines.
Surface Coating can be applied on hardened high alloy steel body and aluminum body
According to the customer requirements, ceramic coating (conductive or non-conductive) or tungsten carbide coating can be applied as well.
